our Returns policy

Each item is unique and handmade in our Low Bentham studio. We measure, describe and photograph each item of pottery carefully – so please ensure you are happy with the dimensions, use and care instructions before you order.

If you have any questions before placing an order please contact us (as a small business this helps us to minimise cancellations and exchanges) via email: hello@gingerbiscuitpottery.com

Once you have received your pottery:

Damaged in transit, incorrect item sent or faulty – please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the item with images of the damage at hello@gingerbiscuitpottery.com. We will refund the cost of the return postage.

Changed your mind? – please advise us within 14 days of receiving your item. You are responsible for returning the item in its original and saleable condition. We recommend that you use a tracked/signed delivery method as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us. The buyer is responsible for the return postage. Refunds will not be issued for items that arrive broken or damaged. The original shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount. We will advise you of the return address. Please use the original packaging if possible. Securely repackage the order and test for movement – if you can feel the item moving when packaged it will be at risk of being damaged during transit back to us. Once we receive the return we will contact you and issue a refund.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

We aim to post all items within 2 working days of placing your order. At busy times of the year dispatch may take a little longer. Our postage service is Royal Mail 48 hour Tracked. We will provide your tracking number when confirming we have dispatched your item.

Standard (Royal Mail 48) – 2 day delivery aim – flat rate £4.95 (TBC)

Delivery services can vary depending on your location. Christmas and other busy times of the year will have an impact on Royal Mail delivery timescales. Once your order leaves us we are not responsible for any delays. Please only place your order if you are confident the item will arrive with you in time.
